General Price List

These prices are effective June 22, 2026. They are subject to change without notice. The goods and services shown below are those that we can provide to our customers. You may choose any items that you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.

If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason, in writing, in the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Prior to drafting any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

All persons making funeral arrangements are entitled to a copy of the “Consumer Guide to Funeral & Cemetery Purchases” from the California State Department of Consumer Affairs prior to drafting a contract for funeral services. A copy of this guide will be provided for you.

Our arrangements package includes basic professional services of the funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased from the place of death into our care and to the crematory, refrigeration, cremation fee, cremation container, electronic or manual filing of death certificate and disposition permits, Department of Consumer Affairs fee, sales tax, and appropriate plan urn.

This package is optional. Everything in it can be purchased on its own. This package includes all applicable taxes and non-declinable fees.

*Carbon neutral is defined as off-setting 0.29 tons of CO₂ per cremation.

Memorial Tree

Starting at $6,200

A dedicated tree in a private, protected Memorial Forest.

  • Contractual rights to spread ashes in a protected Memorial Forest at your tree

Prices and availability may vary by location. Payment plans available for preplanning. Contracts for Memorial Trees are arranged and paid directly to Better Place Forests. Better Place serves as a representative to facilitate this arrangement.

Spreading Grove

A place within a protected Memorial Forest to return ashes to the earth.

  • Resting place in a protected Spreading Grove
  • Self-guided ash scattering experience and up to 10 guests

  • Ongoing access to the forest for family and friends

Nature Memorial Ceremony

$100 - $1,500 (based on # of guests)

A natural, guided ceremony in which ashes and soil are combined and placed at the base of the Memorial Tree or Spreading Grove. The experience is personalized and can include readings, songs, or other meaningful elements.​

Basic Professional Services of Funeral Director and Staff

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.

Direct Cremation

$3,745 – $3,940

Basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; removal of remains; transportation to crematory; storage for up to 5 days; necessary authorizations, cremation, and urn.

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The minimum alternative container we provide is a Minimum Cardboard Container.

Embalming

Convenient Payment Options

At-Need Arrangements

Payment in full is required before cremation, aquamation, or natural organic reduction can take place.

Pre-Need Arrangements

Flexible payment plans are available for pre-planned arrangements, with terms up to 10 years. Plans are funded through preneed funeral insurance or, for near-term needs, an annuity.
